Andrew Lee Morrison, who was to grow up to become an America’s singer and songwriter, was born to a famous naval family with a history that could be traced to the earliest American naval traditions. Born as the son of Admiral George Stephen Morrison and Clara Clarke Morrison, Andrew’s childhood was spending in a military family vibe which is different from other children during that period.

He spent most of his childhood years moving from one naval base to another across the United States thus he experienced different cultures and terrains. Born and raised in the 1960s and 1970s, Andrew saw or heard firsthand many of the changes that were happening in societies all over the world.

He grew up moving from one coastal city to another due to his father’s transfer, and this allowed him to get an estimation of the United States of America. Andrew himself was a great professional always working hard like in the first years of his practice. Despite not having the same level of fame as his father he was able to prove himself as a professional and to come into his own. He got specialized knowledge in his area of specialization by practicing what he learned he practiced values integrity in his line of duty and gained the esteem of colleagues.

Parents: George Stephen Morrison and Clara Clarke Morrison

George Stephen Morrison was a United States Navy admiral, who commanded various naval forces at moments in history. Perhaps most notably he commanded forces in the Gulf of Tonkin during Vietnam War, that was a significant part of the American military history.

Clara Clarke Morrison would be an excellent embodiment of military spouses of that time as they were strong and resilient. She was able to navigate having to move around several times through different postings and maintain the household for her family.
